Brief biography:

Wendy has been teaching for 23 years; in mainstream schools with a high level of additional needs as well as socio-economic deprivation, or in specialist provision for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).  She has developed a high level of knowledge and expertise in working with pupils exhibiting challenging behaviour in the classroom and has a solution-focused approach to understanding, managing and changing experiences for these pupils. She is currently Head of Key Stage 2 at Woodstock School, part of the Woodway Federation.  In this role she leads on outcome-driven curriculum development throughout the school, with consideration of individual or group accessibility requirements. She works closely with the school SENCo as part of the EHCP review process.  She is passionate about improving outcomes for the most disadvantaged pupils.
