Brief biography:

Lisa has specialised in SEND SEMH education for over 12 years.  Committed to fairness in education and inclusion of young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, Lisa has already assisted colleagues through outreach support.  Lisa is currently the Assistant Head of The Woodway Federation, an SEMH specialist provision for pupils in Key Stage 1 – 4.

Lisa also manages an early intervention base which offers a range of interventions including; consultation, observation, joint planning, giving feedback, support and advice to staff, individual work, small group work, in–class support, team teaching and the delivery of In-service Training. As well as working with pupils and students individually, in small groups or whole classes, Outreach Teachers offering support in the development and implementation of whole school policies.

Lisa delivers 1:1 coaching and mentoring as well as a range of internal and external insets and has been active in SEMH research projects.
