Creating a network of PE leaders across the city and beyond
Real PE is a unique, child-centred approach that transforms how we teach PE to engage and challenge EVERY child, giving them the physical literacy, emotional and thinking skills to achieve in PE, Sport and life.
For PE subject leaders and lead teachers, a termly network meeting is planned to support PE leadership and whole school development in an informal and informative setting with Sarah Moon.
The aim is to:
o Share best practice and create a network of PE leaders
o Look at self assessment and next steps planning
o Updates for subject leaders
The real PE Whole School model is supported by an impact report which celebrates improvements in staff confidence, pupil engagement, pupil progress and the broader impact of real PE across the school. The impact report is a great tool to show how your PE and sport premium has been spent and its impact
