Brief biography:

Caroline is an experienced Early Years teacher. She has taught in both Nursery and Reception over the past 10 years.

While at Headley Park Caroline has trained as a level 3 forest school leader, co leads the Science curriculum team and oversees EYFS assessment.

Caroline is an outstanding Early Years Practitioner and the standards and progress in her class are excellent. She has a passion for child-led, topic-based education and has been instrumental in establishing this culture of quality Early Years education at Headley Park. She has delivered excellent staff training and key stage assemblies, which enthuse and enable both adults and children to be successful in the teaching and learning of science and forest schools.

Her specialist knowledge of early literacy, particularly in phonics, is exceptional and she has demonstrated an ability to communicate this to enable other staff to improve their practice. Her work with other schools has been very well received. She has been proactive in quickly establishing good relationships and she offers constructive advice in an enabling and supportive way. Caroline communicates well and has very good interpersonal skills. She has the respect of all her colleagues and parents in the community and is widely regarded as an excellent practitioner.
